Students at Shepaug participate in the Senior Project as a graduation requirement. This real-life learning experience offers a personalized learning opportunity for students in which they can apply the skills learned throughout their working careers. This is the culmination of the Shepaug experience and it allows students to explore a passion or interest in great depth. By collaborating with professionals and business from our community, the students gain experience working beyond the classroom.
Donor high-impact, quick-need funding assures SSPF can assist Shepaug students as they explore ideas, formulate plans, and execute projects over the course of a school year. SSPF has awarded funding for numerous projects, including student involvement in both the Model U.N. at Harvard University as well as Shepaug’s World Affairs Forum and many more.
